More Ways to Win

NEW SCRATCHIE GAMES DUE VERY SOON
Watch out for all the new scratchies about to be released.
There will be two new extended play scratchies based on popular existing games. One is like the game "Battleship" and the other is "Bejeweled Bingo," based on a popular internet game. Both games will start to be issued from the end of July.
The long delayed $2 will also be issued at the end of this month. This one will be called "Ball Games".
We have the last of the $2.50 scratchies on sale now and Lotteries will not be producing any more at this price. There will be special arrangements for the issue of free $2.50 tickets at the end of this game.
We hope that you are enjoying the free chocolates that we are giving away with scratchies. In addition, you can win a fabulous home entertainment package, but this is only for a limited time.

Major Smokescreen

DANGER, WATCH FOR AGENDAS HIDDEN
Surely all this garbage about leadership challenges is covering up some very nasty plans the Australian Government is sneaking past so we don’t notice! All the media has been sucked into this furfy too by giving the leadership so much coverage (or are there undeclared vested interests here too?)
The media ownership laws being rushed through need your attention by contacting the federal politicians and informing them that we are not happy with their nasty plans. If they succeed, the only people to benefit will be the enormously rich media owners and their huge corporations. The public will again be dudded because the politicians think we are too stupid to realise what is happening. The pollies must think that they will get favours from the media bosses for the next election by doing this enormous favour or more foolishly, that they can control foreign media owners.
Media in this country is very limited in its views because of limited ownership, limited sources and us being prepared to accept low standards from all types of media. If more foreign ownership and further concentration of ownership are allowed, we will have no comparisons to draw as all sources will report with the same bias or views. Just compare the current TV coverage of events between free to air stations to see this point.
ACTION NEEDED BY YOU NOW:-
Phone, fax, write and email federal politicians and complain about these media plans. Ministers, back benchers or any other government politician you can contact would help the cause. National Party members may have access to the right political levers. The cabinet had already rubber stamped this action, so we must stop it in the parliament before the politicians convince themselves that we approve this crazy action.
THE ALTERNATIVE:-
Can you imagine what could happen if only a couple of foreign owners control the content of all we read and all that we are shown on TV? Even now it seems that the attitude of TV producers is that if they have no footage to show of an incident, then it did not happen! This is, in effect, censorship of what we are permitted to view publicly.
Further extension of this idea is scary in the extreme. It smacks of "1984" and would be similar to totalitarian control by the media. Would the foreign media owners then set the agenda for all of Australia? In the future could other governments keep this new situation balanced for us?
Do the only thing practical at this late stage – worry a politician!
Any of your local politicians’ staff will provide contact details for other politicians who should be contacted about this important matter.

Really Good Scratchie News

$10,000.00 SCRATCHIE TICKET
We had another lucky customer claim $10,000 on a $2.50 scratchie.
The funny thing about this win is that we had sold out of the type of tickets she wanted to buy, so our customer took this as a substitute! Talk about a fortunate error! She already has planned on how the money will be used.

Scratchie News

WE HAVE A PROBLEM!
Somehow NSW Lotteries has managed to run stock of $2 scratchies so low that a small disaster has happened. The new batch of the next $2 scratchies has a major security problem and cannot be issued to us for sale.
Now we have a situation where agents are waiting for new stock or some may have existing unsold old stock on hand to sell (but this is rare). This seems simple enough, but the problem gets awkward when we are supposed to pay out many free $2 scratchies as prizes on these and other games. You probably do not know that each price level of scratchies offer different commissions so the solution is more difficult than it first seems.
We don’t like to disappoint our good customers and the NSW Lotteries error is making us look tardy. Also our staff have to spend extra time to administer this and explain it to you. Unfortunately this is not up to our high expectations of customer service and we apologise for any problems it causes you.
