Darrell had a terrible motorcycle accident last week-end. He was transported to John Hunter in Newcastle for special attention for suspected head injuries.

We heard some terrible stories about broken wrists, femurs, removed spleens and bleeding from the brain. Fortunately, all of this was wrong and Darrell’s family brought him home on Monday.

Now the bruising is a different matter. We think he will change colours like a chameleon and the aches and pains will not be funny.

As a further bonus, he hopes to be back at work in about a week. This will follow some TLC from his sisters. The motorcycle, however, is beyond repair.

Doug has cancelled all his pre-planned arrangements to cover for Darrell this week, so you will probably not be aware of the major drama behind the scenes.
