Unusual Calendar Sequence
RARE UPSET IN THE CALENDAR…COMING SOON.
The last quarter of this year (October, November and December 2006) will have 14 Sundays in it.
This is quite unusual on the calendar because it makes the quarter have an extra week on our billing cycle. We missed noticing this event when we sent out the half year accounts at the end of June and calculated the usual 26 weeks. (It should have been 27 weeks.)
In 2007 the first quarter (January, February and March) will have only 12 Sundays, so after this unusual period, all will return the "normal’ 13 weeks.
For those who watch the stars and horoscope there may be some significance and for others it may change this dry weather pattern (or something).
It’s hard trying to explain why statements vary under these circumstances when some people don’t understand that some months have four Sundays and others have five!
