MATILDA HAS A SISTER!

WELCOME TO ABIGAIL NAOMI DUNN
Abigail was born today (Wednesday) June 28 at 11.30am in Brisbane.
She weighed 4.14kg (9lb 2oz for the metrically challenged) and was 54.5cm long.
We are excited to announce this wonderful event and report that both are well and so is Tim, the proud father.
Matilda will have to make sure she stays on the good side of her "little" sister!

Go Socceroos

INTO THE ROUND OF 16!
Well done to our great soccer team who have held off all challenges so far to reach this high level in the world cup.
Is it our perception, or have Australia been allocated a lower grade of referees than some of the more prominent teams? How can there be so many mistakes by officials at this level of the game. Surely it couldn’t be the politics of the sport. We waded through all this sort of rubbish with the Sydney Olympics. With less games and fewer teams in the knockout section there should be some obvious improvements in the controlling officials’ performance!
Go Aussie!

New Lotto Rules

LOTTO RULE CHANGES
Don’t miss a draw because of new rules that now apply to public holidays. From now, all Lotto draws that fall on a public holiday will be drawn on that day. No longer will draws move to the following day.
Make sure that you plan ahead, especially at holiday times or you will get caught out.
We’d hate it if you missed your turn at millions because you didn’t have a ticket. (It would probably annoy you a little bit too!)
One way around this problem is to put in a two week entry when holidays are due. This means that if you can’t get down to put your entry in on the holiday week-end, you’ll be covered.
Just a reminder that other recent changes now link Lotto jackpots on Mondays and Wednesdays so the automatic doubling of small prizes no longer happens when there is no winner of 1st division. The jackpot is back for these days.
