Ron is 94

Ron's 94th Birthday

This week we had a small family party to celebrate Dad's birthday. Jill had come home for a few days to be there on the day since she had a small opportunity before having to mark exams.

We all had a lovely time with him but we nearly set off the fire alarms when Nan lit the sparklers we had on the cake! There was no chance that we were going to be able to light 94 candles because the cake would have had to have been much larger.

Although he is still recovering from a badly broken leg, we think he enjoyed the occasion. These days it is sometimes difficult to tell since he is so medicated to counteract the pain.
